In the single-player campaign, you battle your way through hordes of enemies to achieve a series of narrative missions, entering a specialised 'Art of Battle' mode when you encounter particularly difficult foes. Joining the battleįor Honor includes both single-player and multiplayer modes.

Players pick one of three factions and then choose a class within that faction, each class has its own set of weapons and combat skills.

For Honor is currently offering a free weekend for all platforms (Xbox One, PS4, and PC) for players who haven't had a chance to try it. The team's goal is to breath new life into the game and demonstrate their long-term support to For Honor in the coming months and years. In addition, the team has added new competitive and ranking modes, and tweaked the UI, along with existing maps, for overall quality of life improvements in the game. The new rarity system will give veteran players a chance at new gear with new visuals and statistics, but also shorten the progression for new players so they can get up to speed faster and into the fight. The second map, Viking Village, is a frosty area home to the Vikings complete with a spike trap that rolls over enemies. It's a medieval battleground with one massive tower still remaining, complete with a ballista so you can shoot enemy players if you're not interested in, you know, fighting them.
